The Coco Bear Fundraiser Story

The Muskoka 2/4 Craft Beer Festival was proud to donate a portion of 2022 event proceeds to the Coco Bear Fundraiser.

The Coco Bear Fundraiser was founded in 2020 by Shari Dubois in honour of her son Conrad, with the purpose of raising funds specifically for youth mental health projects in Muskoka. To date, Coco Bear has raised $40,000 for youth mental health in Muskoka.

Our son was a gifted, kind, developing artist who loved his family above all else. Although Conrad fought hard to overcome his struggle with addiction it overruled all the wonderful attributes of our amazing son and, sadly, he died on July 13th, 2019.

In an effort to support other your people battling substance abuse, we are offering Coco Bear! Conrad created this character as his totem ... he shared it with everyone that mattered to him. Our goal is to continue fundraising by selling these products in his memory. A portion of all sales are donated to youth mental health and addiction programming.

Thank you for supporting our vulnerable youth. They need us now, more than ever.
